Does Journal Genie train AI on my data?
No. Your sources, journals, and surveys are never used to train AI, never sold, and never shown ads against. A journal entry is read by the AI only when you explicitly opt that entry in.
Are the answers grounded and cited?
Yes. In the Notebook surface, every claim cites the exact source passage it came from, and you can click through to read it. When your sources don’t support a confident answer, the AI says so instead of inventing one.
Can I export and own my data?
Yes. Export your notebooks, journal, surveys, and Studio work in one click as plain Markdown, with included data clearly distinguished from omitted. Your context is yours to keep and yours to leave.
Do I need a Google account?
No. You sign up with an email and password; Google sign-in is optional, never required. Your sources and context are isolated per user either way.
